SME – SOMATIC MOVEMENT EDUCATION

In this program students explore and deepen the richness of relationships between body, mind, movement and touch, in the context of a dynamic learning approach based on the experiential study of all the body systems and the developmental movement.
Over a period of about two years and a half, students are guided to experience fundamental principles and practices that lead them to become aware of and embody the anatomy and physiology of our physical structures down to the cellular level. Suitable for anyone interested in working in the field of somatics, movement and bodywork, the SME program offers valuable tools and provides an integrated ground where one’s own personal growth and professional skills are enhanced combining and complementing each other.

The program includes more than 500 hours of classes. In order to acquire the  “Somatic Movement Educator” certification, issued by The School for Body-Mind Centering®, one must have attended all the courses and met all the required homework and requirements.
