This second level of the application courses, IDME 2, can be attended only by those who have completed the IDME 1A and IDME 1B modules.
The IDME 2 Application course focuses on acquiring not only observation skills but also interaction and facilitation skills in accompanying newborns and babies in their development, helping them to reorganize movement patterns where necessary and enhancing their inner potential.
One of the main objectives of the IDME program in general, and particularly of the IDME 2 module, is to acquire the ability to interact effectively with babies in a non-invasive, playful, and spontaneous way through engaging them in the relationship, and to communicate with parents and caregivers empathetically and for educational purposes.
Specific objectives are:
- deepening one’s embodiment process, through theoretical and experiential knowledge related to some aspects of the body systems;
- integrating these experiences with those about developmental movement and perception;
- applying these acquisitions in the work of facilitation with infants and babies, engaging them through play, movement and touch;
- dealing with issues related to facilitation, communication and education, non just with babies but also with families and caregivers;
- outlining one’s professional identity and role in society as Educator (IDME).
To become an IDME graduate, it will be necessary to having completed all the modules of the program, and its related homework and requirements.
If you are interested in participating and have completed the IDME 1 level, please fill the Application Form
Registrations will be open from February 2, 2026
