6 days, 42 hours of class, day off March 19
Faculty: Gloria Desideri, Thomas Greil, Anne Expert
Based on the experience developed through the Somatic Movement Education program, and continuing from the course Senses and Perception-1, this course, Senses and Perception-2 explores the special senses in details, anatomical and physiological aspects of each of them, and how they interrelate to each other and integrate within the dynamic of perception.
In this course, by focusing on the active aspect of perception, we can acquire theoretically and experientially a deeper understanding of the relationship between developmental movement and perception. This process may expand our range of choices in responding to ourselves, others and the world.
